Robert A. Sterling

Robert is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, a member of American Institute Certified Public Accountants in the State of Massachusetts, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of England and a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica, and also holds a Diploma in Computer Studies.
Robert has over twelve years experience working with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Grant Thornton, both audit firms. He has been an integral part of numerous public, private and owner-managed business concerns, including Strategic Planning, Corporate Financing, Tax Planning, Succession Planning, Assurance, Reviews and Compilation, Forecast and Budgets and Business Group. During the year 2001 to present, Robert has worked in the Retailing and Not-For-Profit sectors in the areas of Corporate Finance, Financial Planning and Reporting, Business Planning Forecast and Budget and Tax Planning. Robert has also been involved with many projects related to Information Technology from planning to implementation. He has also provided strong leadership and value added advice to many on business start up strategies, tax issues, personal and business financial planning. He has lectured for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Canada at the professional stage of the exams. He is also a registered volunteer with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario - Free Tax Clinic. Robert has a compelling passion for business acumen and people. He is well known for his business-oriented performance style, professionalism, honesty and integrity. He is an avid golfer and badminton player and also loves the arts. When not involve in any of the above, he is spending quality time with his loving wife Winsome. |
