Joel spent eight years as a public accountant. In seven years he went from Comptroller to Vice President, Finance at Embassy Cleaners, a subsidiary of Shoppers Drug Mart/Imasco Ltd. He spent three years as Vice President, Finance at Paramount Holidays Limited, and 20 years as Partner/CEO at Linda Lundstrom Inc., which is a vertically integrated women’s apparel design/manufacturing/ retail operation.
Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant in Ontario. Some of his skill set include: leading, team building and managing, developing and connecting financial plans to operation goals, interpreting financial statement results, developing transparent key operating performance indicators, dealing with key stakeholders, acting as key resource concerning human resource matters.

I have seen that when people are encouraged and given responsibility to develop ways to “work smarter", they do.
Anybody can be enthusiastic about his or her work. What’s mundane to one person is exactly what someone else wants to do.
When results are regularly reviewed and budgets are “rolled” there are no “surprises”.
